These sandals really don’t fit that well, they seem a bit too long for the size. I own a closet full of Birkenstocks so I’m quite familiar with how they ought to fit. They’re also a bit too loose in the strap area, despite having buckles to adjust the fit. Partly that’s because if I tighten them I will get an even worse blister/scab on the top of my foot from the buckle. I have to wear them looser so I don’t turn the top of my foot into ground beef, so I just don’t like the sandals. Not everything Birkenstock makes is comfortable, but most of their shoes are, I guess if you like the socks with sandals look these would be fine, or if the tops of your feet have huge callous they’d be fine. The weird thing is that the buckle only hurts on one of me feet the other foot hasn’t gotten a huge scab on it, and generally both shoes will hurt my feet, not just one. I just am not impressed because they run long for the size and they’re wide even thought they’re Birkenstock narrow fit. Just because the price was good I’m not very pleased with these sandals.These are really attractive and were comfortable right out of the box. I already want to wear them all the time! I will say that I normally wear a 7.5 but I ordered the size 37 (which is indicated to be 6-6.5) and this size fits perfectly. The 38 would have been too big.Only has them 1 month and already need new bottoms.. and it’s much thinner then the ones I bought through Birkenstock.My spouse always wanted a pair of Birkenstock’s but never wanted to speed the money. She was so surprised I ordered them. She says they’re very comfy and feel good.They were too wide. I returned them.These sandals do not fit like other Birkenstock products.The cross leader straps hurt my feet and made them bleed.These birks are comfy. They are true to size. I have narrow feet so they fit well.Love these Birkenstocks. They were extremely comfortable right out of the box. The two tone material of leather/suede is a nice combo that really elevates the style along with the criss-cross straps. They say they are a "narrow" fit but narrow in Birkenstock is a B size which is (medium/narrow). So if you have regular feet, these will work for you. My feet are not narrow and I think this particular style runs a bit wider than my Madrid pair in medium/narrow. I will say if you are a big fan of the support you get from the top straps of the Arizona style, you may find that this does not keep your feet as "pushed down" and secured into the footbed. That doesn't mean that they are uncomfortable to wear, but there is a notable difference so just something to consider. Your foot does rise a bit because you don't have a strap going across the highest point of the top of your foot. I am willing to give up that top strap in this sandal because the style is just too cute. I imagine over time, I will have to tighten the straps as they loosen a bit, being that they're suede. Great new addition and love that I finally have a black pair! Posted pics for reference.
